The Historic Homestead Town Hall Museum has been working with the Florida Digital Newspaper Library to put our newspaper collection online so that is is accessible to those with an interest in the history of South Dade. To date, we have sent the files for the newspapers up to the merger between the Homestead Enterprise and The Homestead Leader, which was effective with the November 6, 1931 issue of the Homestead Leader-Enterprise. We have completed the newspapers up to the end of 1961 but have not yet sent them to Gainesville. They should be ready to view by the end of 2022.
Here is the link to the issues of the South Florida Banner (1912-1914) and the Homestead Enterprise (1914-1931) that are currently available:

Unfortunately, you do not have an option to select a particular page and after page 77, the newspapers listed belong to the University of Florida, which are difficult to read. After page 122, unrelated newspapers and documents are listed. This is a beta website and a work in progress.
